Daniel Taub Warns World About Iran

The Middle East is a part of the world that attracts a great deal of attention. Home to some of the oldest known human settlements, the Middle East is also home to many modern nations. One nation that has been attracting a great deal of attention lately is Iran.

Iran is run by a group of men devoted to theocracy. One person sounding the alarm about Iranian actions is Daniel Taub. Daniel Taub is the former ambassador from Israel to the United Kingdom. In this role, Taub had a close look at how the world of diplomacy works. As the ambassador, he had the opportunity to interact with many world leaders. He was also in close contact with his fellow diplomats around the globe.

His work helped give him insights into how the world of international relations functions. This is one of many reasons why he feels so confident speaking out.

Daniel Taub is of the opinion that Iran’s actions and a recent accord pose a serious threat to stability in the Middle East. He warns people that Israel may choose to react to this latest series of threats by looking at potentially new alliances in the region.

Other Alliances

Taub reminds people that Iran is a majority Shia state. As such, residents here adhere to a certain sect of Islam. He believes that Israelis may be justified in seeking out other alliances with states that adhere to the Sunni sect of Islam. Such states include the Gulf States that are part of the modern day Middle East. They share the same concerns that Israelis do that a nuclear Iran may pose a serious danger to the entire world and to world peace as a whole.

Daniel Taub grew up in the United Kingdom. He choose to move to Israel. Here, he has raised six kids. He offers a unique perspective that bridges the western world’s view of the Middle East with someone who has spent a great deal of time in the area.

His firsthand knowledge provides him with a base of knowledge that allows him to see things others cannot. In the process, he hopes to help people understand exactly what is happening here.

His belief is that it is possible to have an agreement that leads to lasting peace but all sides need to be held accountable. In his opinion, this accord may not help at all.
